TICKETS are now on sale for a new illuminated Christmas attraction set to transform Redlands IndigiScapes Centre into a festive after-dark wonderland this summer.

The Redlands Coast Enchanted Christmas Garden will run nightly from November 30 to December 20 with illuminated garden trails, light installations, festive displays and live entertainment at the Capalaba botanic gardens.

Acting Mayor Julie Talty said the event would be a major new feature of Council’s Christmas on Redlands Coast program.

“Christmas on Redlands Coast is about bringing the community together with a range of experiences and events for the whole family to enjoy,” Cr Talty said.

“Everyone loves Christmas lights, and the displays Council has installed across the city since 2024 have been very popular.

“The Enchanted Christmas Garden, however, will take the lighting displays to a whole new level that I am sure will prove to be a hit with residents and visitors.”

The gardens will feature fairy-light arches and tunnels, mist and snow machines, motion lighting and Christmas-themed displays, with live entertainment planned from Friday to Sunday each week.

Division 7 Councillor Rowanne McKenzie said the attraction would offer plenty of opportunities for families to make memories.

“I am excited to see the IndigiScapes botanic gardens reimagined into a sparkling Christmas wonderland that is certain to provide a magical experience for all visitors,” Cr McKenzie said.

“There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos with fairy lights covering arches and tunnels, mist and snow machines, and motion lighting.”

The IndigiScapes Café will open from 6-8.30pm each evening, while food packs can be pre-purchased with tickets.

The Enchanted Christmas Garden will operate from 6.30-10pm each night.

Bookings are essential.

It is supported by Community Bank Victoria Point and Wynnum Manly, Darwalla Group, Local Redland Bayside News and Alex Gow Funerals.

Other Christmas on Redlands Coast events include the Lighting of the Christmas Tree at Raby Bay Harbour Park on November 27 and 28, Christmas lighting displays at five locations, a Christmas Hub with Santa’s hotline, and Santa photo pop-ups and children’s activities on Russell, Coochiemudlo and North Stradbroke islands.
