GHOSTS, ghouls and little witches are set to take over Cleveland Aquatic Centre this Halloween for a free family celebration packed with slime, spooky games and sweet treats.
The centre’s Halloween Family Day will run from 4-7pm on Friday, October 30, transforming 222 Russell St into a fright-night playground for children and their families.
Youngsters will be able to tackle a spooky obstacle course, hunt for Halloween clues and dig through slime in search of creepy crawlies.
There will also be a fish-for-duck game in a coloured kiddie pool, with an even-numbered catch earning a prize, plus a guessing competition challenging children to count the spiders in a jar.
For creative little monsters, a dedicated craft area will offer the chance to make spooky masks, decorate pumpkins and create pipe-cleaner spiders.
The fun will continue with a Halloween disco, while children are encouraged to dress to impress for the best-dressed boy and girl competition.
Fairy floss will help keep the party going as families gather to enjoy a one-stop Halloween outing close to home.
Cleveland Aquatic Centre says the event has been planned as a safe, welcoming celebration where families can enjoy the Halloween excitement together.
Entry is free but children aged 14 and under must be actively supervised by an adult over 18.
