NEUTRON continued his outstanding rise through the grades, recording a fifth consecutive victory down the 366m straight at Capalaba on Sunday.
The Vicki Shepard-trained son of Primo Uno and Tarks Tammy Rose started a commanding $1.45 favourite at just his eighth career start and justified the confidence with another dominant display.
Breaking sharply from the boxes, Neutron quickly found the lead before shifting to the centre of the track and powering away to score by seven lengths over Lester Banner, with Remember Bruce finishing third.
Having begun his career in Grafton in March this year where he had two starts, he moved to Queensland with a great form line at the Capalaba track of five wins and a second placing from six starts there.
The impressive youngster now boasts five wins and two placings from just eight starts and has surpassed the $10,000 mark in career prizemoney.
Elsewhere on the 12-race program, local trainer Tom Tzovelis enjoyed a treble as his well-supported runners all saluted.
