AFTER a week of voting across our socials, the people have spoken, and your favourite fish and chip shop in the Redlands/Bayside region is none other than Cleveland’s local gem, Sea Fuel.
I swung by to see what all the fuss was about, and let me tell you, the hype is justified.
I ordered the grilled salmon with chips and a Greek salad, and the moment my fork touched that salmon, it immediately fell apart.
Perfectly grilled, still juicy, and carrying that subtle yet awesome charcoal flavour.
The chips?
A delightful middle ground between crunchy and soft, dusted generously with chicken salt, because let’s be real, chips without chicken salt is unspeakable – someone had to say it!
Paired with the freshness of the Greek salad, the whole plate felt like the kind of meal you finish and immediately consider ordering again.
One of the owners shared a heartfelt message with us, thanking everyone for their support and saying they hope to see you all again soon.
And honestly, that warmth shows.
Sea Fuel isn’t just serving food; it’s serving community, and you all clearly felt that when you cast your votes.
