First Five Early Learning Victoria Point opens its doors to Redlands families on July 17.

The importance of the first five years for children’s learning, development and wellbeing is evident throughout, with purposeful learning environments designed by an early childhood education expert, a play-based curriculum approach and a highly experienced team of education professionals ready to welcome and support children and families.
With the new government Child Care Subsidy (CCS) changes coming into effect from July 10, 2023, childcare is cheaper for most families. Some families previously not eligible for CCS may now be eligible.
The expert team at First Five Early Learning can help families work through the changes and how best to apply them to individual circumstances to maximise subsidy entitlements. For first time users of childcare, the team can also assist with how to apply for CCS and step families through the process.

A key point of difference for First Five Early Learning is their “No Fee Increase Guarantee”.
With this guarantee, the fee a family starts on from the point of enrolment is the fee they will stay on while their child remains at the service, giving families peace of mind about future costs (terms and conditions apply).
The daily fee is inclusive of nutritious meals, nappies and sunscreen. Children will receive a First Five Early Learning backpack and t-shirt on enrolment.

A key component of the introductions will be outlining the service’s approach to school readiness focused on five pillars: oral language development, physical development, dispositions for learning, social and emotional development.
These five pillars of learning, development and wellbeing for young children provide the foundation for the government-approved kindergarten program guided by the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline.
Led by a bachelor-qualified early childhood teacher, the kindergarten program affords children a rich curriculum including inquiry-based learning, a balance of teacher-led and child-led learning opportunities, and engagement in experiences different to home.
