Police have launched an investigation after a string of alleged break-ins at businesses across Brisbane’s south and Redlands during the early hours of Tuesday, June 27.

Officers were called to several locations throughout the morning, including a business on Cleveland Redland Bay Road at Thornlands about 2.25am.

Investigations suggest three people broke into the business using a power tool and fled with a quantity of cash and medical equipment.

CCTV footage from the scene shows the group wearing dark hoodies and face coverings.

Officers were also called to alleged break-ins at Forest Lake, Camp Hill and Mount Gravatt the same morning.

Police are investigating whether the incidents are linked, given their proximity and the similar entry tactics used in each case.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
