SEA Fuel is the kind of local gem that seafood lovers dream about.

With its newly opened dine-in area and a reputation for perfectly cooked fish and chips, this buzzing Middle Street favourite is making waves in the Redlands dining scene.

Originally a takeaway-only business when it opened four years ago, Sea Fuel has steadily built a loyal local following.

Now, thanks to its expanded indoor dining space, it’s attracting seafood fans from across Brisbane and beyond.

“We’ve built up a strong customer base,” said co-owner Fotis Skordou.

“The dine-in option was just the next step.

“It’s cosy, it’s clean, and people love it.”

And there’s a lot to love.

From the moment you walk in, the space feels welcoming – spotless counters, smiling staff and a steady hum of satisfied diners hint that you’re in for something special.

The menu is built around freshness and quality.

Cod is the go-to for many regulars, but I went for the grilled barramundi.

Beautifully seared, expertly cooked by co-owner Costa Savva, the fish arrived with a delicate, flaky texture that let its natural flavour shine.

A light seasoning elevated the dish without overpowering it –simple, but standout.

The chips? Hot, fluffy and perfectly salted.

But what really sets Sea Fuel apart is the heart behind the business.

The team genuinely cares about every plate served – and every customer experience.

“If someone’s not happy, we want to know why and make it right,” Mr Skordou said.

That dedication hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Sea Fuel Cleveland has earned a near-perfect 4.9-star rating on Google Reviews – an impressive feat for any restaurant, let alone a humble fish and chip shop.

Open six days a week (Tuesday to Sunday, 10.30am to 8pm), Sea Fuel offers a relaxed, affordable dining experience with old-school hospitality and new-school flavour.

Whether you’re grabbing takeaway or settling in for a casual family dinner, it’s a spot worth returning to.

Fresh, flavoursome, and full of charm, Sea Fuel Cleveland is fast becoming a Redlands institution.
