Community organisations across the Redlands are being urged to apply for funding under the 2025–26 Volunteer Grants program, with Expressions of Interest now open.

The program provides grants of between $1,000 and $5,000 to eligible not-for-profit groups to help strengthen and support the vital work carried out by volunteers.

Federal Member for Bowman, Henry Pike, said volunteers were the backbone of local communities.

“Across the Redlands, volunteers give their time selflessly to support sporting clubs, community groups, charities and emergency services,” Mr Pike said.

“This grants program is about backing those who back our community. Whether it’s investing in new ICT equipment, essential insurance costs, or software that makes volunteering simpler and more effective, this funding can make a real difference.”

Funding can be used to purchase communication or insurance items and other resources designed primarily to support volunteer cohorts and volunteer-run activities, in line with the Grant Opportunity Guidelines.

Mr Pike encouraged eligible organisations to submit an Expression of Interest.

“If your organisation relies on volunteers, I strongly encourage you to apply. This is a practical way we can support the people who give so much to others,” he said.

Eligible not-for-profit organisations can submit an Expression of Interest by completing the online application form at www.henrypike.com.au/volunteer_grants

Expressions of Interest close at 5pm on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
