SHARE

TWENTY-four years ago, Suzie Tafolo put down her roots in Redlands City. Today, she works alongside her husband Ben Tafolo in their family real estate business and is the proud mother two children, Ciari and Brandon.

Besides that, she puts in plenty of volunteer hours to support the growth and harmony of her community.
Suzi said her passion lies in supporting local businesses and strengthening the community. But Suzi is not just a talker, she walks the talk in in her position as president of the local Chamber of Commerce active member in the Rotary Club, Capalaba.

It all works along with her life ethos, which is to ‘Work hard, make a difference, enjoy the journey, and live your best life.”

“I believe in putting in the effort to achieve my goals, but also in having fun and making a positive impact along the way. This mindset guides everything I do, whether it’s in my work, my family life, or my community involvement.

“I also believe that your vibe is your signature, so make it one that inspires and connects. Most importantly, surround yourself with the right people, because you become who you spend time with, so be smart about it.”

Suzi is a natural extrovert with a ready smile and can-do attitude. She puts these positive qualities to good use, acting as a community connector and problem solver.

“There’s nothing more exciting to me than bringing people together, brainstorming ideas, and making things happen.

It’s incredibly rewarding to see how those connections and solutions can create real, positive change.

But most of all, it’s the people here and their stories that drive me. Getting to know the heart of our community is what makes life here so rewarding.”

She believes her parents early teachings made a lasting impact upon her values.

“My parents taught me the importance of hard work, kindness, and staying true to your values, we didn’t have much growing up, so also being humble and grateful.

“I want to instill these same values in my children—particularly the belief that they can achieve anything through dedication, passion, confidence and a good attitude .

“My hope for the next generation is that they continue to build on the foundation of community, respect and inclusivity, ensuring a better, more connected world.

I also hope they learn to treat each other well and truly understand and appreciate different perspectives, have empathy. and unity in everything they do.

In terms of her home, she said her hope for the Redland’s Coast future is to see it grow and thrive.

“I want to see it maintain its unique charm while embracing sustainable development. I want to see more opportunities for local businesses, better infrastructure and a strong sense of community that welcomes people of all walks of life.”

Suzi values her daily work in Real Estate,

“Each client’s story is unique, and I feel genuinely grateful to be part of their journey. I couldn’t do it without my incredible team—Cassie, Jasmine, and Mia. Plus, there’s always something to learn in this field;

I’m currently upskilling for an exciting new opportunity coming in the new year!”
