TUCKED into the evolving foodie strip of Middle St, Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers Cleveland is a welcome burst of authentic Italian warmth on the Bayside.

As Australia’s first dedicated Gnoccheria, the brand has already made a name for itself across Queensland with 11 locations and growing – and the Cleveland franchise, opened just four months ago, is no exception.

From the moment you step inside, there’s a comforting, casual energy.

Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers Cleveland General Manager Shravik Shrestha, who rose from dishwasher to owner over six years with the brand, runs the restaurant with genuine heart – and it shows.

I ordered the creamy lobster bisque and barramundi gnocchi – and it was a hit in texture and taste.

The lobster bisque was rich, velvety, and decadent without being heavy.

The sauce complemented the handmade gnocchi like a dream, delivering bursts of seafood flavour balanced with just the right amount of cream and seasoning.

It’s the kind of dish that demands you scrape the bowl clean.

The barramundi was a more delicate affair – flaky, fresh fish paired with gnocchi so light it could almost float.

It had a coastal brightness that perfectly suits the breezy bayside setting.

Everything here is made fresh, from the gnocchi to the sauces, and you can taste the difference.

The vibe is relaxed but efficient, with seven-day service and a smart mix of BYO and full licensing to suit the bayside crowd.

Bonus points for the dessert special on Tuesdays – a complimentary tiramisu with every gnocchi or pasta dish for dine-in – a generous touch that pairs perfectly with the restaurant’s ethos of “gnocchi made with love”.

Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers Cleveland isn’t just another franchise – it’s a story of growth, grit, and really good gnocchi.

It’s an emerging local gem that delivers flavour and soul in equal measure.

Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers Cleveland is located at 2/32 Middle St, Cleveland.
