Redlands Coast residents and visitors can now explore more about the city and its workings thanks to a large, interactive screen at Redlands Coast Visitor Information Centre in Cleveland.

Mayor Jos Mitchell said that while the centre had a wealth of information to share about Redlands Coast, the interactive screen provided a way to view the major projects Redland City Council currently has underway.

“It is an alternative and interesting way to see the information about projects such as Birkdale Community Precinct, Weinam Creek Priority Development Area, and the Capalaba revitalisation project,” the Mayor said.

“It also has a map where you can zero-in on some of the medium-sized and smaller works that are happening under Council’s Capital Works guide for the 2025–2026 financial year.

“You can see what works are planned or underway and what stage they are at – planning, design or construction.”

A filter function on the map allows users to search for projects according to their category, pinpoint funded projects in their local area, or browse more information about project staging.

The Redlands Coast Visitor Information Centre is located at 50 Middle Street, Cleveland, adjoining Cleveland Library.

The centre is open 9am to 4pm daily (except Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Anzac Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day).
