Cleveland Boudoir Studio Destroyed in Suspicious Fire
SHARE

A CLEVELAND photography studio that specialises in intimate boudoir portraits has been gutted by a suspicious fire.

Emergency services were called to Poison Ivy Photography on Middle Street about 2.49am on Monday after a member of the public saw smoke coming from the building.

Fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze, but the studio was extensively damaged by smoke and fire.

A window was shattered, and interior walls were left charred.

No neighbouring businesses were affected, but police taped off the shopping precinct, which includes several nearby eateries.

The fire is being treated as suspicious, and investigations are continuing.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or relevant footage from the Middle Street area between 2am and 3am to contact them.

According to the Poison Ivy Photography website, the business specialises in boudoir photography — described as “an intimate style of portraiture that celebrates confidence, beauty, and self-expression.”

“Our sessions are designed to highlight your unique personality and sensuality, helping you to feel confident and beautiful in your own skin,” the site says.

“Whether it’s a gift for yourself or someone special, boudoir photography is a timeless way to honour your femininity and strength.”
