POLICE have charged a man following reports a number of vehicles had been damaged in Manly West overnight.

It will be alleged around 3.50am, a man was seen fleeing an address on Rosedene Street after three vehicles, parked in a driveway, had been damaged.

Following investigations, police charged a 41-year-old Manly West man with five offences including two counts of wilful damage and one count of possession of a knife in a public place.

He appeared before Wynnum Magistrates Court today, 21 August.
