WYNNUM Wolves and Olympic FC played out a tense 0-0 draw at Carmichael Park, with both sides finishing the match with 10 men after a fiery stoppage time.

Wolves dominated possession (66 per cent) and created more chances with 13 shots and an expected goals (xG) tally of 2.09, but couldn’t find a breakthrough.

Olympic held firm defensively, with both goalkeepers making crucial saves.

Red cards to Wolves’ Martins (90+5’) and Olympic’s Duke (90+7’) capped off a heated finish to an otherwise hard-fought and even contest.

Wolves’ Naoki Maeda was named Player of the Match for his commanding performance in midfield.

A confident Wolves will host third-placed Peninsula Power this Sunday at 4pm, a side they demolished 4-1 on the road just last month.
