EXCITEMENT was in the air as the Wynnum Wolves Football Club welcomed back its youngest stars for the annual MiniRoos Muster Day, officially kicking off the 2025 junior football season.

Boys and girls from Under 8 to Under 12 were all smiles as they returned to Carmichael Park, reuniting with teammates and coaches, collecting their uniforms, and jumping straight into a morning of small-sided games.

For many, Muster Day is more than just a pre-season tradition.

It’s a chance for teams to begin forming bonds and for new families to be welcomed into the Wolves community.

It also provides an important opportunity for coaches and team managers – most of whom are dedicated parent volunteers – to connect with their squads and lay the groundwork for a fun and positive football experience.

Despite recent flooding that temporarily impacted the club’s canteen and front rooms, the Wolves’ spirit remained unshaken.

Muster Day saw the debut of the club’s brand-new mobile cafe.

The revamped merchandise store, featuring a new cut-out window design, also helped streamline kit collection.
