AS a single mother and prominent community advocate, Emma Miller has seamlessly integrated her professional and personal roles, achieving remarkable success in each aspect of her life.

Ms Miller’s journey from the UK to Australia in 2018 marked the beginning of a new chapter.

Settling in Capalaba, Maridale Park, she quickly embraced her new home and has since become a popular figure in the Redlands and Bayside area.

Her six-year-old son is the driving force behind her endeavours, inspiring her to create a better life for him and instilling a strong work ethic.

Ms Miller is known in her community for organising family-oriented community events such as the Maridale Park Treasure Hunt, which attracts around 30 families, and the Christmas lists competition, where her son actively participates.

“Because I’m a mum, it helps me put together family-based community events,” Ms Miller said.

Her commitment to the community is further demonstrated through her donations to local schools.

Ms Miller’s ethos: “What you put in is what you get back”, guides her actions and ensures she makes a positive impact on those around her.

As a lead agent and director of Place Cleveland, her professional life is equally impressive.

Her passion for real estate is driven by a desire to help people with their biggest investment or asset – buying or selling their home.

She believes that sellers deserve the best price and a stress-free selling process.

“I want to show sellers that they can go through the selling process without stressing,” she said.

“They can enjoy being around their real estate agent through the process.”

Despite her busy schedule, Ms Miller finds time to enjoy quality moments with her son and their 30kg dog, Baloo.

They love visiting markets, going to the beach, and travelling when possible.

Her flexible job allows her to be present for important moments in her son’s life, while also being there when she is needed for her clients.

Ms Miller’s favourite spots in the Redlands and the Bayside are Wellington Point and Cleveland Point, where she enjoys the fresh bayside breeze.

Looking ahead, she predicts that property prices in the area will continue to rise.

“We have been the best kept secret for a long time, compared to other areas of Australia, so prices will keep going up,” she said.
