THE Redlands property market is set for a positive year, with steady growth on the horizon, according to local real estate agent Rebekah Parker.

“There’s always strong demand for quality properties here, and with the community continuing to grow, I’m confident that interest will remain strong,” Ms Parker said.

“Broader market trends and economic factors play a role, but overall, I’m optimistic about a positive movement in the market.”

Ms Parker, 31, who moved to Birkdale in 2020 with her fiance, has built a career around helping others find their dream homes.

With eight years’ experience in real estate and a background in early childhood education, she’s known for her ability to connect with people and foster genuine relationships.

“My life ethos revolves around integrity, transparency, and building strong, genuine relationships,” she said.

“This mindset has shaped the way I approach real estate, ensuring that every client feels valued, supported, and confident in their journey.”

When she’s not helping clients, Ms Parker enjoys unwinding with her fiance and their dog Boston, or visiting local favourites like the King Island walk and Bloom Room Cafe.

“Whether it’s enjoying a walk around the neighbourhood or just relaxing at home, those simple moments are what I cherish the most,” she said.

Her passion for the Redlands goes beyond property sales.

Ms Parker is invested in the future of the region, hoping for balanced growth that maintains the area’s unique charm.

“I hope to see Redland City and the islands continue to grow and thrive, but without losing the sense of community and natural beauty that makes this place so unique,” she said.

“I would love to see local businesses flourish, more family-friendly opportunities, and better infrastructure to support the growth.

“At the same time, it’s important to maintain the relaxed, welcoming vibe that has made this area such a wonderful place to live.”

Optimistic about the year ahead, Ms Parker remains committed to making a positive impact in the Redlands community – one home at a time.

“What truly drives my passion for real estate is the opportunity to help people find a place they can call home,” she said.

“There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing the excitement on someone’s face when they find the perfect place.”
