WITH summer fast approaching, St Stradbroke has unveiled a new menu crafted to offer delicious, laid-back dining experiences for residents and visitors alike.

This vibrant menu celebrates North Stradbroke Island’s unique culture and culinary diversity, promising a blend of comfort foods and international flavours that add a fresh twist to the island’s dining scene.

Business owners Andy and Larissa Morrison say the concept for the new snack menu came from listening to customers, who expressed a craving for flavourful bites to enjoy alongside a glass of wine.

As a result, St Stradbroke has introduced an array of light yet satisfying dishes that are perfect for sharing, offering variety for guests looking for a pre-dinner snack, a light meal, or a post-beach bite.

Highlights of the new menu include the island-inspired Kingfish Sashimi and the crowd-pleasing Fried Chicken Sandwich. This sandwich, layered with Korean fried chicken on a soft potato bun and topped with tangy pickled onions, coriander, and creamy Kewpie mayo, has already become a must-try item. Pair it with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc or a light Pinot Noir, and you’ve got a flavour combination that’s hard to beat.

The snack menu also embraces a blend of international flavours, such as Japanese-inspired Pork Gyoza and Italian Meatballs with Ravioli in sage butter, courtesy of St Stradbroke’s Italian sommelier, Marisa. For vegetarian diners, the Veggie Bao Buns provide a tasty, plant-based option that doesn’t compromise on flavour.

Beyond the new menu, St Stradbroke has welcomed fresh faces to the team, adding to the vibrant atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. To complement the menu, the venue has expanded its wine selection to feature exceptional bottles from independent winemakers, perfect for pairing with the diverse flavours of the new snack options.

As part of its commitment to the local community, St Stradbroke continues to host popular wine tastings and will be rolling out a lineup of events, including wine shows and tasting afternoons, to create memorable experiences. St Stradbroke invites everyone to stop by – bookings are recommended, especially for those looking to celebrate special occasions.
