REDLANDS VIEW Club has combined fashion, friendship and fundraising at its annual Fashion Parade, raising money to support 10 disadvantaged students through The Smith Family.

Members were joined by family, friends and visitors from Carindale VIEW Club for the recent event, which featured a parade of fashions from Manfred Boutique at Capalaba Park Shopping Centre.

Five Redlands VIEW Club members took to the runway to model the outfits with boutique staff helping assemble the parade.

Guests also enjoyed raffle prizes and a ploughman’s lunch served at red-and-white themed tables decorated with roses.

Funds raised will help enhance the educational opportunities of the 10 students supported by the club through The Smith Family, assisting them to overcome disadvantage and pursue success beyond school.

VIEW – Voice, Interests and Education of Women – is a national women’s volunteer organisation founded by The Smith Family in 1960.

The Redlands VIEW Club is welcoming new members for the coming year.
