A 12-year-old Redlands girl is set to represent Australia at the World Monologue Games against thousands of international performers.

Alexandra Hills actor Elizabeth Malcolm will participate in the World Monologue Games, known as the “Olympics for actors”.

In its fourth season, this international showcase gathers top-tier performers from over 100 countries as they strive to secure a place on the podium.

Elizabeth’s excitement upon being selected for the event’s regional final is unmistakable.

“Participating in this year’s World Monologue Games fills me with incredible excitement,” she said.

“It is such an honour representing Australia, I am joining some remarkable performers from all around the world.”

The young actor will be performing a captivating monologue from Daisy Pulls it Off.

World Monologue founder Pete Malicki said the quality of submissions had soared for this year’s event.

“I am eagerly awaiting the showcase of talents that the finest actors from numerous countries will bring to this year’s Games,” he said.

The Regional Finals will be broadcasted via livestream throughout October.

During this riveting showcase, performers will compete for cash prizes and the prestige of landing on the podium at November’s global finals.
