A VICTORIA Point woman has woken up speechless after discovering her Keno ticket from the night before had landed her more than $108,000, admitting she initially thought her eyes were playing tricks on her.

The Redland City resident scored the Keno Classic 8 Spot jackpot in Keno draw 932, drawn Monday 23 March 2026, and will take home a total prize of $108,086.70.

“I just can’t believe it! I really can’t believe it – I’m in total shock,” she said when an official from Keno rang her the morning after her win.

“Whenever we go out for a family dinner once a month, I always put $20 on Keno. That’s it and never anything more.

“I always use the same numbers too. They’re full of our family’s birthday numbers.

“Instead of playing $1 games this time, I thought I’d try $2 games.

“Funnily enough, I didn’t check the ticket that night. It wasn’t until this morning that I checked my ticket online.

“I had to refresh my web page because I just couldn’t believe what I was seeing.”

The winning entry was purchased at Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club on Colburn Avenue.

With $108,000 heading her way, the woman said she already had a few plans for the windfall.

“I’m in need of a new car and our house could do with some renos,” she said.

“I have no idea what sort of car I’ll be getting. I’ll have to go car shopping this weekend.”

The win comes amid a strong year for Keno players across the eastern states, with more than 78 million wins worth over $1.2 billion recorded in 2025.

Queenslanders accounted for more than 28 million of those wins, totalling more than $466.5 million, including several major prize winners.

Keno is played at thousands of pubs and clubs across Queensland, New South Wales, the ACT and Victoria, with draws held approximately every three minutes.
