Teens charged with 19 property crime offences, Cannon Hill

Dutton Park and Upper Mount Gravatt detectives have charged two teens following investigations into property crime offences across Brisbane’s south.

It will be alleged between 25 to 27 January a group committed a multitude of property offences whilst armed with weapons, including stealing a grey 2013 Lexus IS300H sedan, a blue 2013 Toyota Camry sedan, a white 2019 BMW X3 station wagon and a silver 2023 Mercedes Benz GLC300 SUV.

All vehicles have since been recovered.

Offences are alleged to have been committed at addresses on Davina Street, Monash Road, Isabella Street and Barnehurst Street in Tarragindi, Dahlia Street and Aeroplane Street in Cannon Hill, Kettniss Street in Underwood and Logan Road in Woolloongabba.

Following investigations, the pair were located and arrested at an address in Rochedale South on 28 January.

A 15-year-old Salisbury boy has been charged with 14 offences including four counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle (UUMV), three counts of attempted enter dwelling with intent at night whilst armed in company, two counts of enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, and one count each of enter and commit, enter dwelling with intent by break at night in company, face masked with intent to commit indictable offence and fraud – dishonestly make off without payment.

A 14-year-old Ellen Grove boy has been charged with one count each of attempted enter dwelling with intent at night whilst armed in company, enter premises and commit indictable offence by break, UUMV and fraud – dishonestly make off without payment

The pair first appeared before Brisbane Childrens Court yesterday, 29 January.

Investigations are ongoing.
