WELLINGTON Point State High School prides itself on having a nurturing environment and high expectations culture where students can achieve their personal best.

As a school we are united, dynamic, determined, selfless and respectful, making us the desirable option for students who live in and outside of our immediate suburbs.

It is our vision that “working together, we can realise the potential of every student” and our mission is to empower students to be lifelong learners and responsible global citizens.

We provide challenge, offer opportunity and entrust responsibility so every child leaves our school having achieved their personal best.

We welcome enrolments from students outside our catchment area who demonstrate excellence in one of three specialist areas: Sport (ESAP), Academics (LEAP), or The Arts (ENCORE). These programs are also offered to current and prospective students who show above average ability in any of these disciplines.

In 2026, our school will be offering two languages: Japanese and French with experienced and passionate teachers recruited to expand the international arm of the school curriculum. School tours to Europe, Japan and New Zealand occur bi-annually and International student enrolments and short and long-term school tour events are hosted regularly.

To enrol your student for 2026, families who live in catchment complete an enrolment application form and submit it to the Enrolments Officer via email [email protected] or in person at the Administration office.

Include copies of the student’s Semester 2 2024 and Semester 1 2025 school reports, Year 5 NAPLAN results, a current Rates Notice or Lease and a recent utility bill. The student’s Birth Certificate will also need to be sighted.

Out-of-catchment families must complete an Expression of Interest form, an application form and include copies of the student’s Semester 2 2024 and Semester 1 2025 school reports and Year 5 NAPLAN results.

Applications will be reviewed by the Principal, with timely advice shortly after if they have been successful. The student’s Birth Certificate will need to be sighted.

Contact Enrolments Officer, Jo Morley, on 07 38204240 or via email [email protected].
