St John Vianney’s Primary School is proud to announce the appointment of its Year 6 leaders, who are set to make a significant impact on the school community this year.

The leadership positions in 2025 are: Sustainability Leaders and Eco Marines, Sports Leaders, and Catholic Identity and Arts Leaders.

Each role is designed to empower students, fostering an environment where they can know more, grow more, and be more.

The Sustainability Leaders and Eco Marines are dedicated to promoting environmental awareness and responsible practices within the school.

They lead initiatives such as recycling programs and tree-planting events, encouraging their peers to take an active role in caring for the planet.

This commitment not only enhances students’ understanding of sustainability, but also nurtures a sense of responsibility towards the environment.

Sports Leaders play a vital role in promoting physical health and teamwork. By organising sports events and activities, they inspire their classmates to engage in healthy competition and develop their athletic skills.

This leadership fosters a school spirit and enhances the overall wellbeing of students, reinforcing the importance of physical activity in daily life.

The Catholic Identity Leaders focus on enriching the spiritual and creative aspects of school life.

They coordinate faith-based activities and art projects that reflect the school’s values, allowing students to express their beliefs and creativity.

This role encourages a deeper understanding of faith and community, helping students to connect with their spirituality and express themselves artistically.

Our Arts Leaders play a major role in 2025 because St. John Vianney’s has its musical, Superstan.

In addition to the musical, they foster an appreciation for the arts.

These leaders encourage their peers to explore their talents and collaborate on projects.

This role not only enhances students’ artistic skills but also nurtures a sense of belonging and community, empowering them to connect with their unique identities through creativity.

Through these leadership roles, St. John Vianney’s Year 6 students are not only enhancing their own learning experiences but also contributing positively to the school community.
