THE Redlands Tigers have continued their golden stretch of success, storming into the Queensland Premier Cricket One Day Finals just weeks after lifting the KFC T20 Max trophy.

Building on their T20 triumph, the Tigers have carried their momentum into the 50-over format, stringing together a series of commanding performances to secure their spot in the decider.

A double bonus point victory over Toombul last weekend thanks to a 66-ball hundred from Sam Heazlett sealed their place in the final, capping off a strong campaign that also featured impressive wins against competition heavyweights Norths and Souths.

Allrounder James Bazley has been in blistering touch, dominating with both bat and ball.

His explosive hitting and wicket-taking ability have proven decisive in tight contests.

Jack Sinfield has been equally impressive, with a move up the batting order along with bowling the tough overs through the middle.

His crucial runs and wickets have set the game up and showed his class as one of the competition’s best all-rounders.

Adding further class to the lineup has been the return of Sam Heazlett, whose experience and consistency have anchored the top order.

Heazlett’s steady presence has allowed the side’s younger talent to flourish around him.

One of those rising stars, James Pullar, has continued to catch attention with his high-class spin bowling and growing maturity on the field.

The young and upcoming spinner has been a key weapon through the middle overs, often breaking partnerships when his side needs it most.

Guiding the Tigers’ charge has been new captain Liam Smith, who has quickly stamped his mark as an inspiring and composed leader.

Smith praised his side’s togetherness and belief heading into the finals.

“We have played some fantastic team cricket through the competition and are really looking forward to getting out to Ipswich and taking on the front runners,” he said.

“Hopefully we can get the chocolates and get ourselves into another grand final.”

Now, with the chance to claim back-to-back titles, something the club has never been able to achieve in its history.

Tigers will look to carry their winning momentum into the One Day finals campaign and bring more silverware back to the Bayside, a fitting reward for a group with confidence, talent, and belief.
