REDLANDS Cycling and Multisport Club members enjoyed another successful weekend of racing, riding and endurance challenges across Queensland and beyond.
At the Muzz Masters Criterium, Simon Phuah produced a dominant performance, taking victory in the Masters race and claiming both prime sprints.
In Cairns, Neil Makepeace starred in the Long Course Aquabike, finishing second in his age group and third overall.
Wayne Knott and Martin Mitchell also recorded strong age-group performances in the 70.3 event, while Phil Stoneman coursed through the full Ironman to secure a top 10 age-group finish.
Julie Rappo enjoyed a busy and successful weekend, placing 10th in Women’s C Grade at Round 3 of the Queensland Time Trial Series before backing up the following day to claim third place in Women’s B Grade at the Queensland Cyclocross Series in Bangalow.
Closer to home, a large contingent of RCMC riders took part in the annual 140km Brissy to Bay ride.
Adding to the weekend’s endurance achievements, Rob Collins completed a 133km Brisbane Valley Rail Trail ride from Yarraman to Harlin and return.
