ORMISTON College has kicked off the year with a strong performance in Trimester 1 of The Associated Schools (TAS) inter-school sporting competition, claiming the coveted title of Overall Champion School.

The Redbacks delivered an outstanding all-round performance, taking out multiple championship titles including Boys Cricket Champion School, Girls Tennis Champion School, and Boys Volleyball Champion School.

In the pool, Ormiston dominated with a stellar effort in the Swimming Championships, claiming top honours in Boys Percentage, 16 Boys, 14 Boys, 13 Girls, and 12 Boys divisions.

A string of premiership wins further cemented the College’s reputation for sporting excellence.

  • Boys Cricket Premiers (2nd XI)
  • Girls Football Premiers (2nd XI, 8 TAS)
  • Girls Tennis Premiers – Seconds, Thirds, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2, and Intermediate 3
  • Boys Volleyball Premiers – 9 TAS, 8 TAS, 7 Blue Shield (Junior Div 3), and 7 Red Shield (Junior Div 4)

With students continuing to grow in confidence, skill, and team spirit, Ormiston College’s sporting culture is thriving.

As they head into Trimester 2, the Redbacks are ready to raise the bar once again.

Players, parents and supporters can get behind the teams when the next round of competition begins this Saturday across rugby, netball, hockey, boys’ tennis and cross country.
