A WYNNUM pizza shop has taken out one of Queensland’s most hotly contested food titles, with munja pizza named the State’s best pizzeria in the 2026 Queensland Day All the Best Awards.

The Bayside favourite claimed the top honour after Queenslanders cast a record 74,630 votes across 15 categories celebrating the State’s best local businesses, eateries and attractions.

The annual awards, held in the lead-up to Queensland Day, recognise everything from bakeries and cafes to beaches, pubs and tourism attractions.

For the Bayside, munja pizza’s victory was a standout result, with the Wynnum business beating competitors from across Queensland to be crowned the State’s best pizzeria.

Premier David Crisafulli said the record number of votes demonstrated Queenslanders’ passion for supporting local businesses.

“All the Best is exactly that – Queenslanders backing Queenslanders and getting behind the local spots and businesses that they love,” Mr Crisafulli said.

“A record-breaking number of votes shows we are building something special for this State, just how proud Queenslanders are of where we live, and how good our local businesses really are. Congratulations to every winner.”
