When it comes to purchasing a new home, residents of Redlands have spoken loud and clear. In a recent survey conducted locally, aimed at understanding the priorities of homebuyers, several factors emerged as the most crucial considerations.

Among factors such as land size, price, convenience and community amenities, one aspect stood out as the top priority for an astounding 50 per cent of respondents, and that was ‘location, location, location’.

Zaid Amour, a recent local buyer, said location was the number one factor when it came to making his decision.

“We absolutely love the pocket of Thornlands we stay in. We live on a narrow road and all the neighbours are happy and always saying hello like a little community, even if we don’t know each other,” he said.

“Our business was located in Capalaba and we needed to stay close. We fell in love with the house itself also, with its size [and] location.”

Kalie Hodge, another local resident, said she and her husband had always talked about wanting their forever home to be at Oyster Point in Cleveland.

“We had researched the area, prices, block sizes et cetera and knew that houses didn’t come up for sale that often in that area and when they did, they would get snapped up very quickly,” she said.

“We definitely were prepared to pay more for a less than ideal home in this location – which is exactly what we did.

“Both my husband and I are on the road for work so being close to a workplace wasn’t important, but we are close to our children’s schools.

“Cleveland is just a great place to live. Being down at Oyster point means the water is always in sight, which is lovely.

“There are beautiful walks to take the dog and the kids can easily walk or ride to school.”

The Redlands Coast is a location that truly spoils its residents for choice. Nestled in a region of unparalleled natural beauty, this coastal haven offers a plethora of attractions and amenities that make it a dream destination for homebuyers and investors alike.

Boasting pristine beaches, picturesque islands and stunning parks, the Redlands Coast effortlessly combines the tranquility of a seaside retreat with the convenience of urban living.
