The Redlands Coast Museum, in collaboration with Australian Celtic Women, is proud to celebrate National Seniors Month with a very special concert on Saturday, October 11.
This all-female musical ensemble promises to transport audiences to rolling hills and misty moors, filling the air with angelic voices, tantalising harmonies, whirlwind fiddle playing and dazzling costumes.
Combined with stunning visual effects, heartfelt choreography and the richness of traditional Celtic instruments, the performance is set to be an unforgettable feast of music, memories and exhilaration.
With backgrounds in opera, musical theatre, folk, pop and Celtic traditions, each artist brings unique flair and world-class expertise. Together, they weave harmonies so powerful they’ve been described as “out of this world”.
The group was formed to celebrate Australia’s unique Celtic heritage while shining a spotlight on the extraordinary talent of women in Celtic music.
Audiences can look forward to timeless favourites such as Danny Boy, Skye Boat Song (from Outlander), You Raise Me Up, Amazing Grace and more – each performance laced with warmth, joy and a touch of magic that will leave you wanting more.

Melinda Coles
Performed at the 2025 Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in Scotland.
A musical prodigy, Melinda studied under Dr Suzuki in Japan and earned a scholarship to the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music at just seven.
Known for her boundless energy, infectious enthusiasm, and mesmerizing fiddle playing, she has directed the National Fiddle Rally and wowed audiences worldwide.
Camille Layt
Recently toured Scotland with the Warwick Thistle Pipe Band and performed at Pipers Live.
Camille has captivated audiences across Australia and internationally with her masterful bagpiping.
A dedicated leader, she has held key roles in Brisbane Pipe Band and Dojo University, the world’s largest
online bagpiping school, cementing her reputation as a passionate and accomplished musician.
Kathryn King
Currently starring in La Bohème with Opera Queensland.
Kathryn’s rich, soaring voice brings warmth and depth to Celtic melodies. With a career spanning Australia and Asia, including performances with Opera Australia and Queensland Musical Theatre, she commands the stage with luminous presence and artistry.
Together, these exceptional musicians form a seven-piece ensemble delivering exhilarating harmonies, fiery duels between fiddles and bagpipes, and music that will leave audiences breathless.
