A NEW chapter has begun for residents at Ingenia Lifestyle Sanctuary with the opening of The Bushland Retreat – a state-of-the-art clubhouse designed to foster health, wellness, and community connection.

The milestone for the Victoria Point community was marked with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by residents, staff and dignitaries, including State Member for Redlands and Assistant Minister for Planning, Housing, and Better Regulation Rebecca Young.

The Bushland Retreat offers an extensive range of amenities to support an active and social lifestyle, including a resort-style magnesium pool, wellness room, gymnasium, meeting spaces, cinema and music room, arts and crafts studio, informal dining areas, alfresco barbecue spaces, and landscaped lawn areas.

The clubhouse follows the recent opening of the community’s Sports Pavilion, which features a golf simulator, darts, bowling green, pool tables, and a fully stocked bar.

Other amenities, including a dog park and direct access to bushland walking paths, cement Ingenia Lifestyle Sanctuary as one of the region’s most sought-after addresses for active over-50s.

Ingenia Communities Executive General Manager – Acquisitions & Developments, Michael Rabey, said The Bushland Retreat had been designed with residents’ wellbeing front of mind.

“Our goal is to create communities that not only provide beautiful homes but also world-class facilities where residents can truly live the way they want to live,” he said.

“The Bushland Retreat offers an amenity level that sets a high standard for the region and reinforces our commitment to providing our residents with exceptional lifestyle options in high-quality communities.”

Construction began in August 2024, with Hutchinson Builders engaged as the principal construction partner and OGE Architects leading the design.

Mr Rabey said the opening reflected Ingenia’s commitment to creating thriving, connected communities.

“Today is about more than just opening a new clubhouse – it’s about celebrating the vibrant community we’re building here at Ingenia Lifestyle Sanctuary,” he said.

“The Bushland Retreat is designed to bring people together. Whether it’s a yoga class in the wellness room, a swim in the pool, or sharing a barbecue on the alfresco deck, these are the moments where friendships are formed, and memories are made.”

Resident Joy Lemon, the first to move into Ingenia Lifestyle Sanctuary in 2023, said she was looking forward to enjoying the new facilities.

“It’s a lovely community to be a part of and The Bushland Retreat is set to make life even more enjoyable for everyone,” she said.

Ingenia Lifestyle Sanctuary is a Bayside community with 250 residents and 140 homes either completed or underway, with 225 homes planned on final completion.
