THE ABC is pleased to announce Bluey’s Big Play is making its way to screens this Easter.
Premiering on Sunday, April 20 at 7.30pm on ABC Family and ABC iview, the televised production will transport audiences to experience the magic of the world-wide hit theatre adaptation of Bluey.
Join Bluey and her family in their first ever fun-filled stage show.
It’s Bluey like you’ve never seen it before – for real life. With an original story by Bluey creator Joe Brumm, the theatrical production features brilliantly crafted puppets and the voices that audiences will know and love from the award-winning television series including Melanie Zanetti and Dave McCormack.
When Dad feels like a little bit of time out, Bluey and Bingo have other plans!
Join them as they pull out all the games and tricks to get Dad off that bean bag. Nominated for a prestigious Olivier Award for Best Family Show in 2024 and having played to families all over the world, Bluey’s Big Play was filmed at the Theatre Royal in Sydney.
The production features music specially composed by Joff Bush.
The televised version of Bluey’s Big Play is produced by BBC Studios Kids & Family Productions in association with Ludo Studio, Andrew Kay and Windmill Theatre Co. It will be distributed internationally by BBC Studios.
