ADVERTORIAL
Are you a new business on the Redlands Coast that is trying to be seen? Or have you been operating for years and need some extra help and support?

Maybe you are looking for a grant for your organisation, assistance with mentoring, a local connection for procurement or even a way to champion your organisation on the Redlands Coast.

Well, did you know that the Redlands Coast Chamber of Commerce has a membership and sponsorship ambassador team that spends its time on the ground visiting newly opened businesses on the Redlands Coast and engaging with existing businesses, to ascertain their barriers in business, help and share resources of support for businesses and offer their expertise and connections for those in need.

This team of dedicated volunteers from the Chamber has been working alongside the Redlands Coast Connected Business Community for more than a year now, visiting, welcoming, helping, supporting and connecting, to hear what you need in business.

Over this past year, the Chamber’s ambassador team have been busy identifying the barriers to business, by speaking to local business owners and we are hearing common themes from most. These include; struggles in finding staff, growing business, avenues for marketing and business exposure, cost of living and wage increase considerations, council regulations and lack of framework for approvals, procurement costs and availability, carparking, empty vacancies, lower consumer and investment confidence, liveability concerns of the area, public transport and connectivity, youth training and career pathways.

As the voice for the Redlands Coast business community, the Chamber is dedicated to working in collaboration with business, industry and all levels of government to address these barriers to business, through engagement and connection, and advocacy of the Redlands Coast as a champion city of south-east Qld.

If you would like to learn more about what the Chamber is doing, we encourage you to visit redlandscoastchamber.org.au. Alternatively, if you would like to receive a visit or a call from one of the Chamber’s Membership Ambassadors – a committee that is a connection for resources, a listening ear, a friendly face, a source of networking, a possible solution and a friend – then email [email protected] today.
