REDLANDS Cycling and Multisport Club (RCMC) was well represented at the Tour De Brisbane this year.

Congratulations with much kudos to all who rode in this epic event.

You are an inspiration to us all.

What makes the TDB special is it is an opportunity to ride around our beautiful city on totally closed roads.

There is something for every rider style as well, fast twitchers and slow twitchers.

Cyclists can enjoy the climb up Mt Coot-tha, the whooshing speed through the tunnels (especially if you’re with a fast group) as well as the flat fast stretches of freeway bus lanes.

The level of competition was high this year with the event attracting additional competitors all striving to qualify for the UCI World Championships, which are being held in Lorne, Victoria, later in 2025.

RCMC had 13 club members riding in the TDB.

Three RCMC members qualified for the UCI Worlds in Lorne.

Simon Phuah, Mark Coxon and Ann O’Brien – congratulations.

Looking forward to TDB 2026.
