Almost three years ago, Rural Lifestyle Options Australia (RLOA) opened its Main Office in Redland Bay, marking a pivotal moment in the organisation’s 33 year journey of delivering essential services to people with disabilities and elderly Australians across South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

Since then, the office has quickly become a cornerstone of the community, making a significant impact on local lives and enhancing the well-being of those who need it most.

RLOA’s presence in Redlands has not only provided much-needed support to individuals, but has also played a vital role in boosting the local economy.

By creating a wide range of job opportunities, from office-based roles to support work, local residents have been able to build meaningful careers while receiving a sense of pride knowing they are contributing to the well-being of their community.

For people with disabilities, RLOA offers a comprehensive range of services that promote independence and improve overall quality of life. These services include assistance with daily activities, social and community participation, supported independent living, short-term accommodation and support coordination.

In addition to disability services, RLOA offers tailored Aged Care Home Care supports, meeting the increasing demand for elderly care within the Redlands community. As many families struggle to care for their ageing loved ones, RLOA steps in with personalised, compassionate services that allow recipients to remain in their own homes for longer. They are also committed to supporting people with home care packages through the upcoming changes brought by the introduction of the Support at Home Program in July 2025, ensuring a smooth transition for those impacted.

Amy Camilleri, a Redlands native and RLOA staff member, shared her appreciation for the company’s work, saying: “It has been incredibly rewarding to help local families with their NDIS and Aged Care Home Care services.

“Knowing we can make a positive difference means a lot to me. Being from the Redlands, it is an honour to contribute to such an important service right here in our community.”

With 33 years of experience and a broad service offering, RLOA has firmly established itself in Redlands, becoming a trusted name for disability and aged care support.

Its ongoing commitment to community growth, development and success highlights the organisation’s important role in the region.
