THIS year marks a significant milestone for CJ Homes, a trusted name in the home-building industry since its founding in Capalaba in 2004.

For 20 years, led by Jyri and Mandie Hopia, CJ Homes has helped Queenslanders build quality homes tailored to their lifestyles, whether they are embarking on their first home journey, upgrading, or investing.

With a commitment to transparency, affordability, and quality, CJ Homes has made building a dream home accessible and stress-free for families and investors alike.

“When we first started, I had about five or six designs and we went from there; now we’ve got hundreds upon hundreds of different designs,” Jyri said.

“We can do a perfect single-family house, or we can do more of a generational house; we can do duplexes, we can do townhouses, we can do pretty much the works.”

Every home built by CJ Homes promises no hidden costs, no stress, and, most importantly, no compromise on quality.

“Jyri started this business 20 years ago for the love of building, the love of building houses for families, and seeing people grow their own wealth, family, and community,” Mandie said.

The CJ Homes team, composed of experienced sales consultants, building designers, supervisors, and licensed tradespeople, is passionate about creating homes that are as unique as the families they serve.

The emphasis on family values echoes throughout the business, with many staff members and subcontractors working with CJ Homes for over 10 years, creating a sense of trust, loyalty, and dedication driven by Jyri from the top down.

“At the end of the day, we respect our staff, we respect our subcontractors, and what goes around comes around,” Jyri said. “It creates a better working environment, and we couldn’t have done this without the people who are involved in our business.”

Jyri and Mandie are as dedicated to their community as they are to quality craftmanship. They have helped to raise funds for homeless youth through the Property Industry Foundation Hard Hat Day, raised funds for victims of domestic violence through Challenge DV, and are major sponsors of the Ipswich State High School boys rugby league program.

Celebrating two decades, CJ Homes continues to build with the same integrity, expertise, and dedication that have made it a pillar of trust for Queensland homeowners.
