Freedom Boat Club Brisbane is a new family-run business based in Manly Harbour that provides a subscription-based service that provides a membership-based access to luxury yachts and fishing boats.

The Freedom team can provide you with an easy pathway to get you on the water as an alternative to buying your own boat.

Bayside residents can explore the beauty of Moreton Bay and Islands on a fleet of premium fibreglass boats.

This casual new style of boating is fast becoming the future of getting out on the water with it’s simple and accessible online booking platform which can see you sign up as a member and be out on the water within a week.

Based out of East Coast Marina, the concept of Freedom Boat Club is just like a health or golf club membership. You have a one-time joining fee and a monthly membership. This gives you access to the club and as an exclusive member you can take out your choice of vessel (average $180k value), with total flexibility of when and how often you like.

The Club in Manly is captained by Brisbane local Brett Bolton who has grown up around boats since a young age and spent over 25 years running businesses in the marine industry. “Freedom Boat Club is the most convenient and cost-effective way for everyday people to get out and enjoy quality boating on a regular basis.

“We make it easy by providing unlimited support and training and looking after all the boat care needs so our members can just enjoy the best parts of boating.

“The Freedom team take out all the hassles with your fully inclusive concierge services, and you just get to experience the best of boating on Moreton Bay – walk-on, walk-off,” Brett said.

“You don’t even need prior boating experience as Freedom will organise the required training and licencing for you. There is also an option to go boating in any of the 400+ club locations worldwide through the membership reciprocal booking program.

The Freedom team will look after the rest including cleaning, maintenance, insurance and registrations which are all included in the monthly fee.

The fleet of boats includes the Whitley 2380 and Bayliner T24 Trophy’s which provide a perfect balance of cruising and fun. Each member is provided a comprehensive familiarisation of each boat and taken out on the Bay to highlight some of the key boating locations for members to enjoy with their crew.

The Club has scheduled monthly events which include both on-water and on shore activities maximising the opportunity for members to socialise and share their boating stories and favourite locations. A local partnership with Eco Marines and introduction to the Quandamooka country people also guides the Club in its support in environmental education with school programs and ensuring their boating activity is at harmony with the local waterways.
