Craft Brew House at Birkdale has taken out Business of the Year at the Redlands Champions of Business Excellence awards held on October 27 at Cleveland.

On accepting the award, Tracey Robson said she felt overcome by the accolade. Craft Brew House also won the food and hospitality (small) section.

Other major winners were Engage Care services which took out the president’s and health and social services awards, Night Ninjas as Redlands champion, Elysium for people’s choice customer service and Wellington Point Farmhouse for people’s choice Best of Redlands.

Sara Horsey of Engage Care Services said she looked after a band of people who ask for nothing.

“I wanted to shed light on these issues,” she said.

Chamber president Suzie Tafolo said the awards recognised and celebrated passion and excellence and supported growth.

This year more than 180 businesses entered the awards with 63 finalists in 23 categories.
