THE internationally acclaimed Faulty Towers the Dining Experience is continuing its globe-trotting success, bringing its signature blend of improvised comedy, immersive theatre and 70s style dining to audiences in Wynnum.

The production, created in Brisbane nearly three decades ago, has toured 43 countries and entertained more than one million people, but its Wynnum season remains one of the most accessible for Bayside audiences.

The show’s return is expected to draw strong interest from across the Redlands and Bayside, where demand for live entertainment has grown steadily in recent years.

The two-hour interactive performance places diners inside the fictional hotel made famous by the 1970s sitcom Fawlty Towers.

Basil’s blunders, Sybil’s sharp wit and Manuel’s well-meaning confusion unfold around a three-course meal, with the cast weaving improvised comedy through the dining room.

No two shows are the same and Wynnum’s lively crowds often shape the humour in unexpected ways.

Producers say the Bayside stop is a favourite on the Australian tour thanks to its mix of loyal returning fans and newcomers looking for a night out that’s close to home.

The Wynnum Manly Leagues Club setting also adds a distinctly local flavour, offering locals an easy option for dinner and a show without the travel time or cost of heading into the city.

Despite its global reach, including a permanent residency in London’s West End, the company continues to bring the production back to its home state each year.

With performances known to sell out quickly, particularly on weekends, early bookings are encouraged.

Tickets can be purchased directly through the show’s website under the Wynnum Manly Leagues Club dates.

For Redlands locals wanting a night of nostalgia, slapstick and unpredictable comedy just up the road, Faulty Towers the Dining Experience at Wynnum offers one of the region’s most unique entertainment options.
