A STUNNING day on the green has resulted in an incredible fundraising outcome, with the 2026 Jones Retail Group Charity Golf Day raising $54,896 in support of The Cage Youth Foundation through the Heart of the Community Foundation.

Held on June 26, the annual event brought together supplier partners, sponsors, business representatives and community members for a day of friendly competition, networking and fundraising, all united by a shared commitment to supporting local young people.

The funds raised will help The Cage Youth Foundation continue its important work providing programs and support for young people across the region, creating opportunities and brighter futures for those who need it most.

The success of the event was made possible thanks to the generosity of Jones Retail Group’s supplier partners and sponsors. Special thanks go to Metcash, the IGA Queensland State Board, and the many businesses and individuals who contributed through sponsorship, prize donations and participation on the day.

Jones Retail Group extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who supported the Charity Golf Day, whether by sponsoring the event, entering a team, volunteering or donating.

The Heart of the Community Foundation continues to provide meaningful support to local organisations and initiatives, with events such as the Charity Golf Day playing a vital role in giving back to the communities that have supported Jones Retail Group for many years.

Following another successful event, plans are already underway for next year’s Charity Golf Day, with organisers looking forward to building on this year’s outstanding result.
