QUEENSLAND Treasurer David Janetzki will visit the Redlands Coast next month to headline a major business and community briefing focused on the State Budget and its implications for the region.
The Champion Redlands Coast State Budget Breakfast, hosted by Champion Redlands Coast, will be held on Monday, July 6 at Redlands Sporting Club in Wellington Point.
The event is expected to bring together business leaders, community representatives, investors and government stakeholders from across Redlands Coast and South East Queensland.
Also Minister for Energy and Home Ownership, Mr Janetzki will join Champion Redlands Coast CEO Cindy Corrie for an in-depth discussion on the Queensland Government’s 2026-27 State Budget, with a focus on key policy areas including economic growth, housing supply, energy, infrastructure investment and property development.
Ms Corrie said the Treasurer’s attendance highlighted the growing significance of the region and would provide a valuable opportunity for local stakeholders to engage directly with State decision-makers.
She said the forum was designed to strengthen collaboration between government, industry and the community, ensuring regional priorities are clearly communicated as Redlands Coast continues to grow.
The event comes as the region advances a significant long-term development pipeline, with around 90 projects valued at approximately $7 billion.
Major initiatives include the Redland Whitewater Centre, the Birkdale Community Precinct, the revitalisation of Capalaba Town Centre, housing projects, and transport infrastructure upgrades expected to shape the region’s future.
Organisers say the breakfast will serve as a key platform for discussing how State-level policy and investment can support local growth and liveability across Redlands Coast.
The event will run from 7.15am to 9am, with tickets available via Eventbrite.
