Detectives have charged four teenagers following the alleged theft of a Mercedes Benz utility reported stolen from Wellington Point on 28 December, and a dangerous driving incident in Slacks Creek two days later.

Police allege the stolen vehicle was spotted around 8.30pm on 30 December at Muchow Road, Waterford West. Officers tracked the car with the assistance of POLAIR, and successfully deployed a tyre deflation device around 9.10pm on the Logan Motorway at Meadowbrook.

The vehicle eventually came to a stop on Charles Street, Beenleigh, where all four occupants allegedly fled on foot. They were quickly located and arrested by police.

A search of the vehicle uncovered suspected stolen property, a knife, cannabis, and drug utensils.
