I RECENTLY visited Teppanyaki Bar at Raby Bay Harbour for the first time, and I can confidently say it won’t be my last.

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm, and full of energy.

As a fully licensed restaurant, Teppanyaki Bar brings a unique and entertaining dining experience to Cleveland, combining the best of Japanese cuisine with a performance in front of you.

The highlight of the meal was, without a doubt, the combination of chef and food.

Every dish was cooked to perfection on the steel grill right in front of us, allowing me to see the skill and precision of the chef at work.

The lobster was an absolute standout – incredibly tender and flavourful, it had a delicate crisp texture on the outside while remaining perfectly moist inside.

If you’re a fan of seafood, this dish is a must-try.

While the lobster was a personal favourite, the eye fillet was equally delicious.

Grilled to perfection, it was tender and juicy, seasoned just right without being overpowering.

The combination of flavours in each dish was enhanced by the open kitchen concept, where you can ask the chef to adjust your meal to your liking.

This makes the whole dining experience feel very personalised.

Teppanyaki isn’t just about eating; it’s about the show.

Watching the chef work his magic with knives and spatulas while engaging with the diners makes the meal feel like an event.

There’s something about the playful moments – like when the chef tosses rice into someone’s lap (on purpose, of course) – that makes it feel like more than just a meal, but an unforgettable experience.

The interaction between the chefs and the guests adds a sense of camaraderie, and it’s clear that the restaurant’s regular customers return not only for the food but also for the entertainment.

The staff at Teppanyaki Bar was top-notch.

Friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, they made sure my experience was seamless from start to finish.

It’s clear they take pride in their work, from the service to the presentation of each dish.

Owner and chef David Tan was a delight to speak with.

His passion for teppanyaki and dedication to creating a community-focused restaurant made the experience even more special.

It’s no surprise that Teppanyaki Bar has so many loyal customers who return time and time again.

Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a regular, it’s easy to see why this place has been a favourite in the Cleveland area for over 20 years.

If you’re looking for a fun night out with family or friends, Teppanyaki Bar is the perfect spot.

I highly recommend it, especially if you’re a fan of fresh seafood, tender meats, and a meal that’s as entertaining as it is delicious.
