REDLAND Performing Arts Centre (RPAC) has unveiled its exciting 2026 season, promising a year of world-class theatre, high-energy physical performances, classical music, iconic Australian artists and headline comedy acts for audiences across the Redlands Coast.

Redland City Acting Mayor Julie Talty said the new program highlighted RPAC’s reputation as the region’s premier entertainment venue.

“This is an exceptional RPAC season – bringing together the best of our state and national companies, world-class international touring productions, and the iconic voices of Australian music and comedy,” Cr Talty said.

“It’s a program you’d expect to see in a capital city, delivered right here on Redlands Coast for our community to enjoy.

“RPAC is a valued asset for our city, and this program sees it used to its full potential by drawing audiences, supporting local jobs and showcasing Redlands Coast as a destination for outstanding arts and entertainment.”

Among the headline attractions is Queensland Theatre’s smash-hit revival Calamity Jane, starring Naomi Price and arriving at RPAC fresh from its sell-out Brisbane season. The immersive production promises a lively trip to Deadwood’s rowdiest saloon in what has been described as a “deliriously funny” musical.

The program also features high-octane physical performance, including the return of Brisbane-based circus company Circa with its acclaimed show Wolf, described as a “gasp-inducing acrobatic thrill ride” powered by “raw energy and astounding physicality”.

International flavour will also take centre stage with Drum Tao’s spectacular Japanese taiko drumming and the Irish dance and music production A Taste of Ireland.

Classical music lovers can look forward to performances from the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Camerata and the Orava Quartet, presenting programs that span beloved orchestral classics, contemporary works and intimate chamber music. Opera Queensland’s Studio Series will also feature, including Carlos Bárcenas’ Latin-American journey Alma Latina! and Alexandra Flood’s tribute to Dame Joan Sutherland.

The season will also showcase some of Australia’s most recognisable voices, with performances by Casey Donovan and Vika & Linda.

Tribute productions celebrating the music of Simon & Garfunkel and Joe Cocker will also feature, while comedy fans can enjoy performances from Dave Hughes, Ross Noble, Geraldine Hickey and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow.

The Acting Mayor said RPAC was “your place for entertainment in 2026”.

“Our customers continue to give us high praise about the venue and programs on offer, and this season will not disappoint,” Cr Talty said.

“I urge you to go to the RPAC website and check out the outstanding shows coming soon to the RPAC stage. For even more value, the Redland Arts Membership Program offers excellent benefits.”
