IT was a weekend of dominant individual performances across the grades for the Redlands Tigers, with bat and ball both producing match-defining efforts as several players delivered standout displays.

Leading the charge with the bat was 2nd Grade captain Jack Sonter, who produced another exceptional innings to guide his side.

Sonter compiled a superb 124 runs from 152 balls, striking 18 boundaries in a commanding display of patience and control.

The innings marks Sonter’s second century of the season, further reinforcing his outstanding year and continued ability to lead from the front as one of the competition’s premier run scorers.

Not to be outdone, William Whatmore, playing in 3rd Grade, delivered fireworks with the bat, smashing a brilliant 102 runs from just 82 deliveries.

Whatmore’s innings was packed with intent and flair, featuring 11 fours and 4 sixes at a strike rate of 124.39.

The knock also represents Whatmore’s second century of the season, highlighting his strong form and consistency with the bat across the summer.

With the ball, young talent Ezra Wolfik produced a devastating spell while competing in the Under 19 T20 competition.

Wolfik claimed outstanding figures of five wickets for just 15 runs from four overs, combining accuracy, control and attacking intent.

The five-wicket haul highlights Wolfik’s growing confidence and ability to impact matches, marking him as an exciting prospect for the club’s future.

In 1st Grade, Brodie Symons delivered another high-class performance with the ball, finishing with impressive figures of four wickets for 56 runs from 19 overs, including three maidens.

With the season now entering the final month of regular cricket before finals begin, the club is well positioned across the board, with all six senior grades currently in contention for semi-final berths.
