Redlands United FC is giving junior soccer players the perfect chance to keep kicking it on the field with a three-day holiday clinic.

The development clinic, available for boys and girls aged six to 14 years, will take place from December 20-22.

Redlands United general manager Carina Crockford said players could expect three days of structured skills and drills.

“It will be three days of coaching from our junior coaches using Football Australia parameters and guidelines,” she said.

“Players will be separated into age groups and will have one coach per 10 players.”

Ms Crockford said the holiday clinic was a great way for players to have fun and keep practicing their skills during the off-season.

“The canteen and clubhouse will also be open for the kids to enjoy their breaks and a way to be out of the sun,” she said.

The fee for the entire three-day clinic is $190, or $75 per day. Ms Crockford said each day of the camp would be slightly different but purchasing all three days would be the slightly cheaper option.

Clinic times are from 9am-3pm with early drop-off available at 8.30 am and late pick up at 3.30 pm.

Redlands United will also be hosting a Free ‘Women’s Come ‘n’ Try’ event on November 28 for division 2/3, 4/5 and 6.

Ms Crockford said she had seen female numbers grow exponentially at the club since the Matildas’ success at the World Cup.

“We will be celebrating 50 years of females and our club in 2024 and have some meet and greet type events in the planning,” she said.

Beginners are welcome with the event to be held from 7– 8.30pm.
