Redlands Coast residents have the opportunity to help shape Redland City Council’s strategic direction for the next five years.
Mayor Jos Mitchell said the draft Our Future Redland City: Corporate Plan 2026–2031 is now open for community feedback.
“Council’s draft Corporate Plan is a document articulating strategic priorities for the next five years,” Mayor Mitchell said.
“It sets long-term goals to 2031 and beyond, aligns with community values, and supports the delivery of meaningful outcomes.”
The draft plan was developed following Council workshops and extensive community consultation earlier this year, which included an online survey, six focus group sessions, a community stakeholder workshop, and eight pop-up events across the city.
“Now is your chance to see how this consultation has shaped the draft plan and to have your say,” the Mayor said.
The Corporate Plan focuses on strong communities that are proud, resilient and vibrant, where everyone belongs; sustainable environments that are clean, green and thriving, respected, nurtured and enjoyed by all; liveable neighbourhoods that are distinctive and well-designed places to live, work and play; a prosperous economy that is flourishing and evolving, attracting investment, innovation and opportunity; and an effective and efficient Council that is well-governed, future-focused and delivers for the community.
Community consultation runs from October 20 to November 2.
