A MUCH-LOVED local event is back for its 12th year, with the 2025 Redlands Annual Charity Day set to raise vital funds for a Wellington Point family facing an unimaginable challenge.

The community fundraiser will be held on Sunday, July 13 at Hogan’s in Wellington Point from 2pm, with all proceeds going to support Jodie Bromiley, her husband Dennis, and their daughters Charli, Ava and Mila.

Jodie, who runs the Bay Collective boutique in Wellington Point, has been diagnosed with breast cancer for the fourth time.

Organiser Paul Branagan said: “It’s all in aid of Jodie Bromiley and her family, Charli, Ava, Mila and her husband Dennis, who is a longstanding Redlands firefighter, while Jodie opened the gorgeous local boutique Bay Collective in Wellington Point only last year.

“Together they are facing an incredibly difficult battle that no one should have to endure,” he said.

Jodie was diagnosed with breast cancer in her early thirties and has battled quietly three times.

“Now she is facing her hardest battle for a fourth time,” Mr Branagan said.

“Those who know Jodie would never know how hard she has battled quietly and has always put everyone else before herself, so this is a fight to keep life as steady and full of love for their daughters despite the uncertainty and heartache.”

Mr Branagan said the event had become a cornerstone of local fundraising efforts.

“This year will be the 12th Redlands Annual Charity Day held, and we have raised in excess of $350,000 in that time,” he said.

“It would be great if we could get a little publicity to help make the day even more awesome than it usually is”
More information, including donation details and event updates, is available on the Redlands Annual Charity Day Facebook page.
