Redland Council has marked a positive start to its 2025–26 Operational Plan, with the first-quarter performance report showing most projects and initiatives are on track.

The report, covering the period from 1 July to 30 September 2025, details progress against 30 Catalyst Projects and 37 Key Initiatives set out in the plan, which aligns with the Council’s Corporate Plan, Our Future Redlands – A Corporate Plan to 2026 and Beyond.

Of the 67 major projects and initiatives, 11 have already been completed, while 56 remain on track.

Across 71 individual activities supporting these projects, 11 are completed and 60 are progressing as planned.

Completed projects in the first quarter include:

  • Southern Moreton Bay Islands Infrastructure – consolidating plans to develop a roadmap for island infrastructure improvements.
  • New Fibre Optic Network – delivering faster connectivity between Council sites and local businesses.
  • Major Transport Corridor Upgrades – including Wellington Street and Panorama Drive Stage 1 upgrades.
  • Redlands Health and Wellness Precinct – facilitating the creation of a health and allied services cluster to drive employment and specialist services.
  • Minjerribah Panorama Coastal Walk – enhancing visitor experiences with safe pedestrian links and scenic views.
  • Marine Public Transport Facility Program – upgrading ferry terminals across the Southern Moreton Bay Islands.

Council’s General Manager of Organisational Services, Amanda Pafumi, said the report highlights Council’s commitment to delivering on its long-term corporate goals.

“The first quarter performance shows strong progress across community, infrastructure, environmental, and economic initiatives. Our teams are delivering on key projects that benefit both residents and visitors alike,” Ms Pafumi said.

The report, prepared under the Local Government Regulation 2012, will be formally noted at the Council meeting on 12 November 2025.
