REDCITY Roar Basketball will run two intensive school holiday development programs in January, aimed at building skills, confidence and game awareness among young players across the Redlands.

The first is a Girls Only Development Camp, to be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the Paul Bancroft Centre.

Running from 9am to 3pm, the camp will be led by RedCity QSL1 Women’s Head Coach Jo Doyle, offering female athletes a supportive, high-quality coaching environment.

The camp is open to players of all abilities, from newcomers to those looking to take their game to the next level, with a strong focus on fundamentals, confidence and on-court decision-making.

Participants are asked to bring their own basketball, lunch and plenty of water.

Places are limited.

A day earlier, on Monday, January 19, RedCity Roar will host its U14/16 Development Holiday Program, also at the Paul Bancroft Centre and running from 9am to 3pm.

This program will be coached by Nathan Farley and is designed for committed junior athletes keen to sharpen their skills and prepare for the 2026 season.

The U14/16 program will focus on player development, court awareness and structured skill work, with organisers noting it is ideal for athletes serious about improving their performance.

Players must bring their own ball, lunch and water, with a strict policy of no drop-offs before 8.45am and no late pick-ups.

RedCity Roar said both programs reflect the club’s ongoing commitment to developing local basketball talent and providing pathways for young players in the Redlands.

Registrations for both programs are now open, with limited spots available.
